Tug of War
This game requires coordination, communication, and strength from all team members.
Rules for the game:
Category:
- Junior: Grades 6-8
- Senior: Grades 9-12 (HSC’24 included)
Team Composition:
Each team consists of 5 members, with separate competitions for boys and girls. Teams should be balanced in terms of strength, and no substitutions are allowed once the match begins. Coordination, communication, and strength are key to winning.
Objective:
The goal is to pull the opposing team across a designated centerline. The first team to pull the other team’s marker (usually a ribbon tied to the rope) past the centerline wins the round.
Match Format:
– The match is a knockout format. The winning team of each round qualifies for the next one.
– Several rounds will be played until two teams qualify for the final.
